Each capsule contain 1mg of garlic oil. Use with caution if taking antiplatelet drugs. Garlic is contraindicated in patients taking warfarin for doses > 5 g fresh garlic per day unless under close supervision. Garlic intake should be discontinued 10 days before surgery. Caution is advised for patients taking HIV protease inhibitors such as saquinavir.
